A. Toy

A. Toy Charlie Tote spotting

My girl Lollise sent me this fantastic image of the A. Toy Charlie tote.
Looks so fucken awesome all beaten up and worn in.

I am really proud of the A. Toy brand and how it all started from nothing. Definitely makes all of the hard work worth it to see your brand out there in the world.

A. Toy Fans

So today I saw my very first A. Toy bag on a person. Unfortunately she probably worked for our PR company but lets just make pretend that she didn’t.

Today a woman named Susan posted an amazing picture of herself rocking the A. Toy Leigh bag and the image is amazing.

I did mention to her to definitely send a picture of her rocking the bag and she actually did! Turns out shes actually a wedding photographer and after checking out her website she does amazing work!

Peter Herman A.Toy

Furry and I were walking around soho and I told him that Peter Herman had the A.Toy jack totes.
The store is so dam small and I felt so embarrassed because they obviously know me so I didn’t want to go inside.
Bart begged me to go inside and I didn’t give in until he got really mad at me. I finally gave in and we saw the bag. It looked fantastic!
So glad that he made me go in. Like so many parts/things in my life- I’m so glad to have him scoot me in the right direction. Thanks Lovey- I LOVE YOU.
Kisses forever my lovely

Fashion Indie A. Toy

I am totally loving the A. Toy online presence. We did a thing with Fashion Indie and doing a giveaway to the person that likes and follows A. Toy.

The best part about the giveaway is that its the last of the style available so it literally is the last 1 of 99.

Hope to get lots of followers and and likes. :–)

A. Toy shoot

So Dianas husband Jon who was the photographer for the atoy shoot did such an amazing job with the shots.

Here are some of the shots that didn’t make it to the website.

First fan

Today this guy tweeted to me with a pic of him rocking one of my bags. Hopefully he bought the bag.

It’s the first time I have seen someone in a pic rocking an A. Toy bag. Plus he’s stylin.

Atoy Product shots today/Changes

Today Brad came by the office to shoot the Series Seven collection or the website today.

It’s always great when we do the shoot because it kind of solidifies the season once we have the product shots. It kind of makes everything so much more real.

Every now and then I really have to take a step back and take in what’s really going on in my life. I have a great job, career is going well and I have my own brand that I am building every single day.

I am very happy and appreciate it all- just kind of tired. I do have to say that I am actually used to the craziness.

Michelle is leaving an her last day is next Friday. It really sucks because she handles a huge chunk of OH and I know I can manage and handle it but it’s just alot to deal with.

Her leaving is also making the reality of the huge workload stressful since we will be without another designer.

I know it will all work out, it’s just sad to know that she will be gone. This year we lost, Laurence, Johanna, Shelley and Maria. :-(

AToy Fall11 Shoot

Last Saturday I had my AToy fall11 Shoot.

IT was fantastic. I just got back from Italy the day before and I kept checking the weather because the Forecast was RAIN for saturday but when I got back into the city- Bright beautiful spring weather! It was amazing.

We had a total of 2 guy models and 4 girl models. It was amazing because thanks to Nicola everything worked out. She styled the shoot and made everything work out. It was amazing how seamless and perfect everything worked out.

Overall we had an amazing shoot- We even had time to work on my headshot which suprisingly I am very happy with.
I am so glad that it’s all over. Completely exhausted and so glad that there will be new product on the website.

Flying to Vegas for AToy Capsule

So right now I am on a flight to Las Vegas and going to show Atoy at Capsule.

I am super excited because I really feel like this season will be strong only because the prices are so much better this season.

This will be my actual first trade show so really glad that I am doing this. My last show Project was just a tag along thing but this time I really feel like I have enough product to actually make a presentation.

It definitely looks Stronger and I hope I get positive feedback.

Well I am hoping that all goes well. Funny thing my bag that I checked in that has all of my Vegas set up stuff from S hooks to product weighs a total of 95lbs. I was charged a total of $175.00 for the dam bag. They said that if I split up the weight into two bags it would have been like $50.00 additional but oh well. Now I know for next time.
