Last week I took mom to the doctor but they couldn’t operate due to a small infection inside so it had to be rescheduled to this week.
So today I took my mom to have the operation.
She was complaining about heart pain and dr said that one of the reasons is because if her arteries could be blocked which could cause those symptoms.
The dr checked out her arteries and all is ok so they didn’t need to put the stent inside.
Procedure took an hour and then she needed three hours to rest to make sure her body didn’t go into shock or anything.
We went home in a taxi and I started thinking about all this time I’ve been spending with my mom. I’m really glad that I got to listen to spend time and really talk to her.
I’m incredibly lucky to have my mom as a mother. She has been through so much in her life and she’s a survivor. She’s the type to go after what she wants and gets it done. She raised me and Allison the best she could and am so thankful for it.
Even though she has put me through a lot- it all made me stronger into the person I am today.
My proudest trait that I have from my mother is a kind heart. She has the ability to connect with anyone from nurses to the cab driver.
I’m so proud of my mom. Love her with all my heart.
