zandertoyOne of the perks for working at C was that we would expense movies and museum visits as “Team building” actives. We decided to go to the Gagosian Gallery to see the Murakami exhibit.
We got really lucky because the exhibit was ending in a few days. Unfortunately B was not able to go :-(
The exhibit did have his stylistic animated creatures, but the most mind blowing part of the exhibit was the huge size and scale. The figures were at least 20-30feet tall.
Also the metallic reflected surface of some of them was really amazing.
I could not imaging how someone would go about sketching one of these. Would have to be sketched in Rhino from so many angles.
