IMG_9197After Cappadocia I didn’t think that it could get any better but being in Kalkan was the best ending to our vacation in Turkey.

The hotel or villa we stayed in was quaint and very nice. Everything from flowers on the bed to fresh ice water as we checked in.

The only negative thing about our trip was that the airline lost our luggage. The flight time between planes was so tight that our luggage didnt make the connection. A day after our luggage still didn’t arrive and luckily the bartender was nice enough to call the airline and speak to them in Turkish for us to resolve the issue. We got our luggage the next day.

We had a wonderful time on the beaches there. The water was clear and not too cold. One of the best things we did here was swimming in the cove which was completely amazing. The cove was so warm and was so amazing.

One of the jewelry shops did custom work and was nice enough to help me remake my necklace. They remade it with a thicker gauge silver and it’s so much nicer now. Now, it’s a nice memory from this amazing vacation.

Another one of the fun things we did was the boat tour. We payed around 40USD each to do a tour around the islands. We had the chance to stop and snorkel at each stop and then continue on the tour. It was a nice small group of us, only around 7 people. They even served us a delicious lunch. An amazing memorable ride and ended with a mud bath. Kind of silly but it was all part of the experience.
